GAIA Vaccine Foundation

GAIA Vaccine Foundation is a nonprofit organization based in Providence, Rhode Island. Our mission is to reduce the incidence of infectious diseases that disproportionately affect the underserved and promote the development of globally relevant, globally accessible vaccines that can be distributed on a not-for-profit basis in the developing world.

GAIA Vaccine Foundation activities are centered on four themes:

Education, Prevention, Access to care, and Vaccination.

Through our active, ongoing collaboration with West African physicians and support for prevention-related clinical activities in Mali, we work to improve the health of children and their parents. Through educational programs, clinical care programs, research publication, and conferences participation, GAIA strives to educate the public and, in particular, healthcare providers, about HIV/AIDS and the need for a global HIV vaccine. GAIA focuses on educating people about the roles that community and individuals can play in advancing accessible health care for all.
