Sirigu Ecological Initiative for Sustainable Development

We are into organic Farming with 16 farmers' groups in 12 communities. We have 15 members in a group (male 6 and female 9). We organize training on organic farming for farmers and assist them to make compost and use it on their farms for higher productivity.

We also have established a New Organic Farming Institute in Sirigu near the regional capital, Bolgatanga and about enrolling students for a One Year Course in Organic Farming and Two Year Diploma Course in Sustainable Agriculture.

We are a Non -profit NGO and we have staff and other supporting staff. We need Volunteers all over the world to come and either teach in the Institute or work with farmers and in the organic vegetable garden established in the school.
