Alpine Legal Services

Alpine Legal Services is the only provider of free legal services in our service area from Parachute to Aspen. Our mission is to ensure access to justice by providing and coordinating quality legal services that protect and advance fundamental legal rights. In 2018 we served 1,815 individuals, including children, victims of crime and low-income senior citizens. We provide general civil legal services, including civil protection orders, custody orders, and divorce for victims of crime and residents within our service area who cannot afford an attorney. We also assist tenants in disputes regarding evictions, return of deposits, and uninhabitable living conditions. We help indigent clients with form completion for pro se legal matters such as small claims and/or debt collection. We also provide legal advice and representation for low-income senior citizens.
