Cowlitz & Clark County Child Advocates are a powerful voice representing the best interest of children who are subject to child welfare and court intervention due to abandonment, abuse, or neglect. CCCA strives to ensure each child has a volunteer Guardian ad Litem to advocate for the child’s unique physical, educational, cultural, and religious needs and to promote maintenance of familiar relationships and permanency.

We strive to educate the community about our mission and create meaningful partnerships with other community organizations that work for the best interest of children. CCCA are Guardian ad Litem appointed by Superior Juvenile Dependency court. We serve approximately 1,000 children every year. Volunteers Guardian ad Litem are able to dedicate more time and care to one individual child or sibling group.
