  • Missão

Since 1974, Freedom House Recovery Center has been committed to promote, enhance and support recovery for men, women and children affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities and substance abuse by utilizing an evidence-based, comprehensive and person-centered approach.

    Sobre Nós

Freedom House Recovery Center is rooted in respect, compassion and caring. In 1974 Freedom House was founded as a non-profit half-way house and detoxification center for recovering adult alcoholics in Chapel Hill. What was present even in our earliest days is a drive to meet the ever-changing needs of individuals affected by addiction and mental illness by expanding both our services and geographic reach through innovative programs and partnerships.

Today, we have transformed into one of the largest providers of behavioral health care in our region, including integrated primary medical care, in a service area that encompasses some of the most distressed rural counties in the state.

Freedom House Recovery Center is a non-profit behavioral health care agency that provides a broad continuum of person-centered, comprehensive services for children, adolescents, adults and families who suffer from behavioral issues, mental illness or addiction. Freedom House has provided hope and healing to people of all ages, from all walks of life, for over 40 years.

We provide services in Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Franklin, Granville, Orange, Person, Vance and Warren counties and treat individuals from across the state.
