Jessie F. Richardson Foundation

The Jessie F. Richardson Foundation is dedicated to serving low income and indigent elders in the United States and abroad. JFR advocates for innovation and quality in housing and long-term care. In addition to providing technical assistance to organizations and governments, the JFR Foundation provides direct aid to indigent elders, policy and program implementation expertise in housing and long-term care, education and training in long-term care, and opportunities for international involvment through its global aging initiatives. We develop innovative programs for special needs elders including rural, mental health and Deaf individuals. JFR also develops programs to enrich the quality of life for frail elders.
