BAY AREA FUNERAL CONSUMERS ASSOCIATION

We have a 9-hr a week employee to keep computer records at an office rented at a church; otherwise, all activities done by volunteers. We conduct price surveys of funeral homes and cemeteries, maintain a website with all sorts of end-of-life planning information, make talks in the 7 counties we cover around San Francisco, exhibit at health and senior fairs, produce and hand out free brochures from information gathered, and monitor state legislation and rules concerning death.
