Brooklyn Generation Schools’ mission is to prepare generations of learners for life’s responsibilities, challenges and opportunities. The school is the first in the country to pilot Generation Schools' award-winning model that re-engineers the staffing and scheduling structures of conventional schools.

Brooklyn Generation creates a professional and collaborative work place for staff. Teachers work in teams. They have common work time every day to plan collaboratively and ensure that their work addresses students' academic and social needs.

• 85 minute Foundation courses team taught in which the instructional ratio is 10 - 12 students per adult
