Minority Rights Group International (MRG)

Minority Rights Group International (MRG) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) working to secure rights for ethic, religious and linguistic minorities worldwide and acts as an advocate of the rights of minorities. MRG International works across groups to build links and raise awareness of minority rights within a clear framework of international standards in a non-partisan way.

MRG International is dedicated to the cause of co-operation and understanding between and within communities.

An international agency with consultative status with the United Nations (ECOSOC)and observer status withthe African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights.
