Sci-Tech Center of Northern New York

The Sci-Tech Museum of Northern New York is a year-round, hands-on museum of science and technology. With more than 40 interactive exhibits designed to spark the interest and imagination of visitors are offered in our 3,600 ft. facility, the museum operates as the only hands-on science museum in Northern New York.

The Sci-Tech Museum strives to accomplish the following goals:

• Develop participatory exhibits, demonstrations, and programs in the basic sciences and their technological applications.
• Enable the general public to gain a first-hand experience with natural phenomena and man-made devices.
• Serve as a resource for formal educational programs.
• Foster interest in scientific , engineering, and industrial careers.
• Communicate to the public a better understanding and appreciation of science and the derived technology.

With these goals in mind, The Sci-Tech Museum develops and maintains numerous programs and activities. The Museum serves as an educational and cultural resource for the community.
