The mission at Quilts for Kids is to keep discontinued fabric out of landfills and bring comfort to children in need, through the simple gift of a handmade quilt. In the past six years Quilts for Kids, Inc. has spread to over 58 sister chapters throughout the USA, Canada and the Caribbean. They have kept over a million pounds of fabric from landfills and produced tens of thousands of quilts which were distributed to children in hospitals and abuse shelters across the U.S. Globally we provide quilts to children in AIDS orphanages in South Africa, Romania, Russia and the Ukraine.
