Healthy Climate New Mexico (HCNM) mobilizes healthcare and public health professionals to advocate for climate solutions that protect health and promote equity. Launched in 2023 by a group of committed and passionate health professionals, HCNM has rapidly grown to over 300 members across New Mexico. We use our collective voice—centered on health—to drive meaningful action that fosters a more sustainable and equitable future. We have achieved amazing progress since our inception, with an outsized role in policy and education in New Mexico. HCNM is deeply engaged with state and local decision-makers to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, accelerate renewable clean energy and enhance adaptation and resilience for our diverse, underresourced communities.
