Senior Legal Hotline provides free assistance by phone on any legal issue to California residents over 60. We emphasize direct service, not referrals, but help callers find more assistance if they need more than we can do. To that end we coordinate with hundreds of other legal and social service agencies around the state. To the extent possible, we also engage in preventive education campaigns; and in a new project we offer mediation by phone to help clients resolve disputes. We rely on volunteers for much of our work and are currently recruiting for VISTA program participants. For more information, please see our web site or contact us.
