The Who We Are Project is a nonprofit organization challenging the dominant narrative of our nation’s founding, demonstrating how anti-Black racism was and remains a central part of U.S. history, and working to promote education, discourse, healing and change.
The Who We Are Project is committed to educating every person in the United States on the truth of anti-Black racism in our history by researching and exposing long-hidden or ignored historical documents, cultivating citizen historians, producing educational content, and facilitating and modeling lifelong learning.
