The Barbara McDowell Public Interest Law Center litigates, advocates, and educates on behalf of underserved and underrepresented communities across the country to bridge the widening gap between the rich and the poor and the powerful and the voiceless.

The Barbara McDowell Public Interest Law Center litigates cases that can make societal changes for the better of the country, particularly for those who are underserved and underrepresented.
Our impact is not limited by the number of cases we can litigate because our sister organization, the Barbara McDowell Foundation, amplifies the Law Center’s efforts by providing grants to various social justice and civil rights organizations that are also litigating social impact cases.
