Founded in 1963, Edmonton Opera is dedicated to producing great performances that showcase the powerful emotions of opera to our community. Our seasons are designed to resonate with modern audiences; we challenge ourselves to present familiar favourites in imaginative new productions, and take artistic risks by featuring repertoire that audiences rarely get to experience live. 

At Edmonton Opera, our focus is on community. We share the joy of opera with the next generation of Edmontonians through education programs and accessibly priced Student Dress Rehearsals. We also perform opera at public venues and in unexpected places to strike a chord with our community.
