We engage a diverse community of learners with a personalized holistic education, cultivating inclusion, compassion, and life-long learning.
Academy Schools is a small, relationship-centered K–12 private school in Tukwila, WA, designed for neurodiverse learners, including students with autism, ADHD, anxiety, and learning differences. As an approved Nonpublic Agency (NPA) school, we partner with districts and families to provide specialized, individualized support in a setting where students are truly known and valued.
We combine clear structure with hands-on learning, individualized instruction, and frequent real-world experiences throughout the Seattle community. From museums and parks to service projects and career exploration, learning extends beyond the classroom in meaningful ways. Our approach helps students build confidence, independence, and practical life skills in a calm, connected environment.
A unique aspect of Academy Schools is our collaborative model: students are welcome to bring their existing ABA teams if that support is already working well for them. We believe in continuity of care and partnering with what helps each student succeed, rather than starting over.
With intentionally small class sizes, our team builds strong relationships with each student, allowing us to tailor supports, spark engagement, and foster growth across academic, social, and emotional domains. We emphasize executive functioning, self-advocacy, and 21st-century skills to prepare students for life beyond school.
Academy Schools is a growing community of educators, families, and partners committed to reimagining education for students who don’t fit the traditional model. We are always looking for thoughtful, flexible educators who want to make a meaningful impact.
Whether you are a family seeking the right fit, an educator ready to join a mission-driven team, or a supporter interested in advancing innovative education, we invite you to connect with us.
