NEW MEMBERS WELCOMED: Meet 2nd Monday of every month at 7pm @ NB Municipal Bldg. Meetings suspended June, July, & August. NBWC is a member of NJSFWC since 1965.

Description About Us - The Beginning: In March 1965, Ruth Supp, an active Junior, met with four women to discuss forming a Woman's Club in North Brunswick. In June of that year they held their first Installation Dinner. There were 40 Charter Members. Their first two departments wee American Home and Art. The first fundraiser netted $225 which was donated to the North Brunswick Public Library which was just forming. For our work with the library and the Kilmer Job Corps in 1966, we were awarded a Shell Oil Company Youth Education Award. Community Related Activities: We have continued to support the NB Library with over $6,000 in donations. $6,800 was raised to purhase life-support equipment for the First Aid Squad. $4,000 was raised to purchase a 12 passengar van for the Recreation Committee. A variety show as held to raise funds for lighting for the NB Township HS stadium. One of the Golden Balls raised money to purchase a kidney dialysis machine for the use of a Township resident. A Scholarship Fund was started in 1975 to be given each year to a North Brunswick graduating senior. We now give two $750 scholarships to NBTHS seniors and two $50 merit awards are given to County Vocational schoool students. Donations were made of bullet proof vests for the Police Department, pagers for the three Fire Departments, a hydraulic life for the Recreation Department van, a piano and pool table for the Senior Citizen Building. Mission - The North Brunswick Woman’s Club is a non-political and non-sectarian organization whose objectives are: a) to promote higher social and moral conditions; b) to aid the local civic community services in North Brunswick; and c) to cooperate with the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs and the General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

As a Non-Profit, all Membership Fees, Fund Raisers, and Donation of Members' Time have supported: The NBWC Scholorship Fund, NB Fire & First Aid Squad, Military Care Packages, NB Meals on Wheels Holiday Treats, NB Food Bank, Veterans' Home, Gilda's House, Ronald McDonald House, Operating Expenses, Various Local Charities & Shelters
