Hyde Park Day School is a division of the Leslie Shankman School Corporation. We educate bright students with learning disabilities in order to prepare them for successful transitions to mainstream public, private, or parochial schools in their home communities.
Our faculty and community have created an incredibly safe and nurturing environment that’s designed to foster self-esteem, confidence, and a genuine interest in learning for all of our students.
Hyde Park Day School’s strength is directly related to the quality of the faculty. The selection process is very in-depth and competitive. The result is a group of administrators, teachers, and integrated service providers who are not only extremely well qualified, but who have outstanding skills, enthusiasm, and the dedication needed to bring out the best in our students. A vast majority of our staff hold a master’s degree or higher.
