Master of Public Policy and Administration

York College’s Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) program provides a fresh approach to public policy and public administration studies that combines a student’s past work, with the theoretical framework and practical experiences that will ensure they are able to succeed. Our students are prepared to take on leadership and problem-solving roles—within government, nonprofits, private sector, and advocacy organizations—that will develop and administer public policies for the 21^st century.

Designed with working professionals in mind, you can enroll in our program on a full-time or part-time basis. Better yet, we offer all Core Courses and the majority of our MPPA electives at night to allow for a full-time work schedule. In addition, York College offers our MPPA program as a 4+1 degree, allowing undergraduate students to obtain both their Bachelors and Masters Degree in 5 years. 

The Master of Public Policy and Administration program at York College is designed to provide students with a public service education and train them for leadership and problem-solving roles. By educating students on the methods, techniques, and strategies within public policy and public administration studies, York College MPPA students will better understand the policy challenges and administrative problems facing their organizations or communities, and be able to develop appropriate and applicable solutions in response.
