Hearing Loss Association of Washington (HLA-WA) seeks to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support and advocacy.

Our Mission: To improve living conditions and assure access for people with hearing loss.

Our Vision: All aspects of life will be accessible to people with hearing loss.

HLA-WA is affiliated at the national level with Hearing Loss Association of America (formerly Self Help for Hard of Hearing, Inc.). HLAA is dedicated to the wellbeing of people who do not hear well, whatever their age, whatever their communication style. It is the nation's largest organization for people with hearing loss. Visit

Let's Loop Seattle is a campaign launched by HLA-WA, advocating to bring hearing loops to the greater Seattle region and to make the region the most Hearing Accessible region in the country.
