Sobre Nós
The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to leadership training and transformational learning experiences in partnership with five California universities: Cal Poly San Luis Obispo; Cal Poly Pomona; California State University, Fresno; California State University, Chico and the University of California, Davis. With more than 1500 alumni throughout the globe they are making an impact across their communities and agricultural industry. The foundation also supports alumni learning opportunities and other educational fellowship programs as well as fosters industry partnerships.
The California Agricultural Leadership Program (CALP) is a rigorous, 17-month leadership development experience for mid-career professionals in California's agricultural and food systems sector. Administered by the California Agricultural Leadership Foundation (CALF), the program develops leaders who are self-aware, culturally competent, effective communicators, and equipped to influence the systems and communities they serve.
Fellows are selected through a competitive process and represent the full breadth of California agriculture — from production and processing to policy, research, and rural community development. The program is grounded in the belief that transformational leadership begins from the inside out: leaders who understand themselves are better equipped to understand and serve others.
