At SFER, we believe that public schools should work for everyone. Our nation's public schools must respect the dignity of every child and every community. Our schools should nurture the limitless talent and potential of every child in the US.

We also know, from conversations with over 4,000 recent graduates of US K-12 schools, that the reality of students' experiences is falling far short of our aspirations. That's why SFER student organizers have set out to unleash our political will to demand a new reality: universal quality K-12 education for the first time in the history of our country.
