Enroot

Enroot is a community-based nonprofit with a mission to empower immigrant youth to achieve academic, career, and personal success through inspiring out-of-school experiences, serving students in Cambridge and Somerville. For the last 25 years, Enroot has empowered immigrant students set ambitious life goals and achieve them. The program’s holistic wrap-around model includes 1-1 tutoring, 1-1 mentoring, paid internships, leadership seminars, and community service. Enroot's independent 20 year alumni impact evaluation revealed that program graduates complete college at twice the rate of their peer cohort and experience success entering the workforce.
