Our modern, groundbreaking concept towards eradicating Alzheimer's disease makes our organization, the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc., truly unique, history-making and separates us from all the rest. The mission of the Alzheimer's CURE Foundation, Inc. is to dramatically accelerate the cure for Alzheimer's. To accomplish this, we are introducing the concept of healthy and vibrant competition within the medica/scientific community with a major cash-prize at the "finish-line". Our goal is to raise and award a $20,000,000 cash prize that will go to the scientist(s) who discover the cure for Alzheimer's. At the same time, we have several programs that support education, such as the Alzheimer's Scholarship Challenge. Students of high schools and colleges (around the country) who participate in this program learn how to use their creativity to raise funds and at the same time support our organization in its mission. In addition, a percentage of the money they raise (5%) will go towards a scholarship that their school will be able to award to an Academically outstanding student who will follow a discipline that will in some way benefit Alzheimer's and/or other neurodegenerative diseases. We also participate in educational programs and do outreach into the community with booths, etc. A cure for Alzheimer's will go way beyond that and open the door wide towards a cure for so many other neurodegenerative diseases and neurological disorders such as Parkinson's, Multiple Sclerosis, Lou Gehrig's (ALS), Huntington's, stroke-related brain damage, neurological birth defects in children and infants, autism, as well as all forms of dementia and so much more.
