Community Foundation for Prince George's County

The Community Foundation for Prince George's County was founded in 1994, and became an affiliate of the Community Foundation for the National Capital Region in 1999. Our mission is to help community members make a difference by inspiring the spirit of giving, stimulating civic engagement and community problem solving for the benefit of Prince George’s County citizens, and by investing in people and solutions to benefit all citizens in Prince George’s County. The Foundation has awarded over 3 million dollars in grants to nonprofit organizations serving Prince George’s County and launched critical community initiatives that address foreclosure prevention, nonprofit capacity building, advocacy and community engagement.
