Picture Alternatives is a startup nonprofit venture that uses creative media to promote the social value and effectiveness of alternatives to violence. Located in Los Angeles--the creative capital of the world, and home to thousands of experts in cinematic arts--we produce high-impact, brief visual stories employing video, film, animation, motion-graphics, and other creative mediums. Aimed at advancing practical and constructive tactics that reshape the way people handle conflict, our productions are short but powerful, in the style of the most professional advertising agencies. However, we because we can make high-quality PSA-style productions at a lower cost, we serve public-sector and nonprofit clients who work on the ground combatting child abuse, domestic violence, and bullying, and strategic nonviolent action in the public arena around the world
