The Staten Island Recreational Association, Inc. (SIRA) is a 501c(3) not for profit organization located in Staten Island, NY. SIRA provides equine assisted activities to children with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and emotional disabilities. Our programs include Therapeutic Riding, Hippotherapy, and Equine Assisted Activities. SIRA is a PATH intl. (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International) center member. This accreditation process recognizes that SIRA has met established industry standars in administrative, facility, and program areas.
