Embody Dance Organization is on a quest to cultivate safer, more inclusive and more accessible dance education spaces. With a focus on D.E.I.A. and mental health within the dance industry, Embody aims to set a new standard for performing arts education.
Sobre Nós
Embody’s programming surrounds hosting "Embody Dance Conference" events across the country. Embody is committed to redesigning the standard dance convention model by creating a safe and accessible community resource for the dance industry. Embody is:
- a traveling conference blending movement classes and mental health seminars designed for young performing artists.
- a three day, innovative dance experience.
- a weekend supporting dance teachers and guardians with seminars just for them.
- a competition centered around community building.
- a conference working to break financial barriers in dance by offering need-based scholarships in addition to industry-sponsored opportunities.
- a community-led organization where the voices of everyone in and out of the Embody space matters.
