Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble, Inc.

Founded in 2004, Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble, Inc. (MCCE) located in Staten Island is a consortium of professional, accomplished musicians and composers dedicated to the craft of chamber music. With wide-ranging presentations of classical and contemporary chamber music including commissions and premieres, the organization provides local audiences of all ages with authentic, enjoyable, artistically excellent, and educational chamber music experiences in the borough of Staten Island for low subsidized ticket prices which range from $0 to $20.

MCCE’s mission is to present and promote chamber music performances; provide an artistic home for musicians to practice their craft and perform; provide the greater Staten Island community with access to professional musical performances, bringing music and music appreciation to audiences of all ages and backgrounds; and support young and/or emerging composers through the commissioning of new works and performance opportunities.

Since its inception, MCCE has presented over 75 concerts and impacted over 7,000 Staten Island residents including elementary school students, seniors, and special needs persons.
