Senior Spaniel Rescue, Inc. (SSRI) is a rescue that was formed in 2007 to specifically address the adoption needs of older senior Springer Spaniels that are destined for euthanasia through normal channels. When life altering events happen, the owners who can no longer care for their Springers must give them up for adoption. SSRI then provides intake, evaluation, foster care, medical care and placement. We also receive dogs through the local animal shelters and work with other organizations like forecloseduponpets.org. Although we specialize in English Springer Spaniels we occasionally help with the placement of other Spaniels breeds.
