  • Missão

The Clinical Undergraduate Research in Addictions – Training and Experiences (CURATE) Program is a 10-week summer program at Boston Medical Center and the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine that provides mentored research experiences to undergraduate students interested in addiction research. Students will be paired with a faculty mentor who has similar interests or focus areas. The program also includes didactic sessions, workshops, clinical observations, and career development opportunities.

    Sobre Nós

Through program participation, from mid or late May through late July, undergraduate students will:

    1. Develop addiction research skills from leading experts in the field.
    2. Expand their knowledge on various substance use topics, ranging from harm reduction to social determinants of addiction.
    3. Acquire clinical exposure to the screening, diagnosing, and treating of patients with unhealthy drug and alcohol use.
    4. Build a peer-based community that encourages collaboration and shared learning.

Every year, the program accepts 3-5 students. Participation can be in-person/on campus or remote.
