Mayan Hands Foundation

Mayan Hands is nonprofit fair trade organization dedicated to providing economic and educational opportunity to Mayan women and girls in Guatemala. Through fair trade, Mayan Hands supports women artisans in their quest to bring their families our of extreme poverty while continuing to live within the Mayan culture they cherish. We believe that when women earn a fair return for their work, they have a dignified path to prosperity and wellbeing that has far-reaching benefits for them, their families and their communities. Mayan Hands invests in the next generation of women by providing scholarships and other educational support to indigenous girls.
