Rutgers Democracy Lab

The Rutgers Democracy Lab works to ensure that future generations have access to the tools and knowledge needed to do the important work of strengthening democracy. The Lab draws on the multidisciplinary expertise of Rutgers students, faculty, and researchers to connect with community members, civic groups, and practitioners to help tackle challenges; explore and test new ideas and potential solutions; and develop evidence-based best practices that support and enhance democracy.

RDL was established through a transformative gift received in November 2024. It works to ensure that future generations have access to the tools and knowledge needed to do the important work of strengthening democracy.
