Friends of Marlpit Lane Bowling Green

A community group that took over a public bowling green when the council closed it in 2011. We are reopening this year, after restoring the derelict bowling hut, the green itself, and working on improving the park. Before it was closed the green was something of a community hub for the elderly in the park, and we want to rebuild this.
We want to keep the green open to the public, encourage people to try a sport, and make sure the park remains a pleasant place to visit.
