Manav Sadhna, in Hindi, means "Devotion to Mankind." As the world enters the 21st Century, technological advances have brought us closer together. Still, we are far from a world of humanity and peace.
In 1992, a few people with a strong desire and commitment came forward to help uplift the poor and oppressed people of India. A series of constructive humanitarian projects resulted in the creation of Manav Sadhna. Today, Manav Sadhna has grown into a solid organization that focuses on uplifting children and women in the slums through a committment to Gandhian values.
Programs include nutrition centers in Ahmedabadi slums, balwadi schools, educational income-assistance program (Earning While Learning), and Disaster Relief programs.
