The mission of Wo/Men’s Resource and Rape Assistance Program is to empower adult and child survivors of domestic and sexual violence to enrich the quality of their lives. WRAP collaborates with the community to achieve a violence-free society.
Specifically, WRAP provides the following services to adult and child survivors:
These services are primarily offered in fourteen counties in West Tennessee and are provided free of charge by a dedicated staff and active, trained volunteers. WRAP services the counties of Madison, Gibson, McNairy, Henderson, Decatur, Benton, Crockett, Haywood, Hardin, Hardeman, Chester, Carroll, Henry, and Wayne Counties. WRAP has nine offices and two domestic violence shelters currently.
WRAP is the only agency in West Tennessee providing services to both sexual and domestic violence survivors. We have coordinated our efforts with those of local law enforcement agencies, attorneys, hospitals, social services agencies, state agencies, and court offices so that we can work together to provide the best services possible to the clients we serve. WRAP not only makes referrals to these agencies but also receives referrals from them as well as information and assistance.
