Sobre Nós

At Women Donors Network, we believe in a world where all people enjoy basic human rights and freedom from discrimination, violence, and oppression; where we are able to use environmental resources sustainably; and where all communities have equal access to economic opportunity.

United by a shared vision of justice and equity for all, our members combine their resources, time, and talents to multiply impact. Our collective giving initiatives are designed to leverage our resources and to build power. We’re changing the face of American politics, bolstering Black-led movements across the country, incubating new ideas, investing in women’s leadership, and mobilizing funding to support work that builds power where it’s most needed.

We focus on multi-issue, intersectional work, providing space to incubate new ideas, learn in community, and collaboratively fund both long-term and emerging projects. From the future of our democracy to the future of our planet, we are investing in solutions to some of the most pressing issues of our time.

The WDN team also supports the work of WDN Action, our c4 sister organization. Through WDN Action, we invest in advocacy and electoral strategies that center the leadership, vision, and long-term organizing of women, people of color, young people, and historically excluded communities.

As a national network of women philanthropists, we acknowledge the ways in which systemic inequality and wealth creation have shaped the field of philanthropy, and we are committed to building a more feminist, multiracial, progressive network, and to being an organization that is proudly anti-racist.

As a workplace, WDN is a great fit for individuals with a passion for social justice issues and a drive to be a part of creating innovative strategies for social transformation. We value relationship building, cultural competency, curiosity and commitment to learning and growth, and a progressive vision backed by collective action. This extends through our programs, our grantmaking, our community, and our internal operations. We believe that a diverse staff is integral to our work and strongly encourage and seek applications from people of color, people with disabilities, women, LGBTQIA+ and other underrepresented applicants.

At Women Donors Network, we believe in a world where all people enjoy basic human rights and freedom from discrimination, violence, and oppression; where we are able to use environmental resources sustainably; and where all communities have…
