Empower audiences to create and enjoy expressions of the human experience through the unity of poetry and music.

Seattle Art Song Society is growing by leaps and bounds! At present, we are beginning to offer **FREE** group voice lessons to the community. With your help, we will continue to grow and expand to include:

- Recitals by internationally renowned singers, and young artists from the Pacific Northwest
- MORE group voice lessons
- Commissioning new works and offering grants and scholarships to composers, singers, and pianists
- Song Ambassadors to go into community schools and teach local children about music, and art song; and we will begin our Seattle Songbook with songs written by the children with the help of our teams
- Open mic style song nights at local bars where we get together and sing and enjoy a drink while increasing the public's knowledge of the art form
