  • Missão

A reimagined system that keeps people out of the system in the first place; returns people better than they were; and creates safety through success and healing — breaking cycles of violence.*

    Sobre Nós

Minnesota Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (MN IWOC) is a statewide union of incarcerated people, their loved ones, and outside supporters working to dismantle and transform Minnesota’s prison system. We organize to end prison slavery, improve conditions, and advocate for systemic changes that prioritize rehabilitation, justice, and community healing. Our vision supports bold reforms like the HOPE Act and the movement to end slavery in Minnesota’s prisons-because safety comes through support, not punishment.
