The goal and mission of the American Cancer Society is to “attack cancer from every angle.” We recognize that beating cancer takes more than medicine. That's why the American Cancer Society does much more than breakthrough research. We also provide free rides to chemo, a 24/7 cancer helpline, and free lodging near hospitals.

The Associate Board of Ambassadors (ABOA) strives to build a community of young professionals who assist in the American Cancer Society’s fundraising, advocacy, and volunteer efforts. When you join the ABOA, you will have the opportunity to network with leaders who are interested in making a difference in their community.
