HELPING OUR COMMUNITY RVA

1. Helping Our Community RVA is a non profit organization incorporated in Richmond, Virginia with 501c3 tax exemption status since October 2021. 2. Our goal is to implement this mental health education awareness outreach program is to reduce the effects of untreated/undiagnosed mental health issue such as suicidal tendencies, substance abuse, homelessness, college dropout rate, low level theft, and estimated 11 year undiagnosed/untreated gap rate among populations at increased risk for mental health issues in Virginia. 3. Our organization works hard on growing and maintaining our ability to provide relatable diverse services such as community hunger relief services, community watch ring doorbell giveaway to citizens living in high crime areas, and our new mental health program. 4. We have established a reputation in the communities we serve and have gained volunteers to serve their community with us. 5. We assist court ordered volunteers in completing mandatory hours through our environmental awareness program. 6. We need an experienced nonprofit professional to help us with our mission of helping others.
