The mission of the Project Brotherhood Clinic is to provide the medical and social services necessary to improve the overall health and well being of the black men in our community.

WHO WE ARE

Project Brotherhood (PB) is a program that was created in November 1997 and is hosted in the Woodlawn Health Center- a part of the Ambulatory Health Care Network & Cook County Health System. A multi-disciplinary team of mostly county employees including social workers, academics, and medical staff started the clinic as part of the Cook County health system in county-owned facilities. PB has become a well-known and highly-regarded local nonprofit, as an effective organization that has become a source of pride for many Chicago residents.

Project Brotherhood (PB) has developed a community based outreach and prevention program for African American men residing in the Woodlawn area and other surrounding south side communities of Chicago. PB has been endorsed by many including: CNN Black In America 2 "Today's Pioneers, The White House, Grammy-Winning Artist & Actor Common, Oscar-Winning Artist Jamie Foxx, CNN radio, Chicago Sun-Times, Chicago Tribune, Chicago Defender, New York Times, Washington Post, Jim Wright Public Health Award and more.
