Second Harvest Heartland

Second Harvest Heartland is the Upper Midwest's largest hunger-relief organization with a mission to end hunger through community partnerships. Second Harvest Heartland forms the cornerstone of organizations working together to alleviate hunger in our 59 county service area. We deliver food to our 1,000+ non-profit member agencies and programs, including food shelves, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, senior community centers and children's after school programs.

Second Harvest Heartland is a member of Feeding America. More than 200 food banks serving every state in the United States belong to this national network and membership means access to millions of pounds of surplus food and grocery donations from manufacturers and producers throughout the country.
