Maharashtra Economic Development Council: MEDC is a prestigious economic Research and Development organization, established four decades ago by the eminent Economist, (Late) Dr. Dhananjayrao Gadgil, for achieving a balanced economic and industrial development of Maharashtra. The MEDC has been acting as an Economic Think-Tank for the Industry and State & Central Govts. MEDC is focused on the development of Infrastructure, Education, Agriculture, Water management, Entrepreneurship and Employment generation for the state of Maharashtra as well as for the nation.
