At Home Health Care Hospice

Mission: Make the last moments of someone's life, the best moments! Become a friend to someone in need! Become a Hospice Volunteer!

We care for patients who have a life-expectancy of 6 months or less. Volunteers are a huge part of our team. They provide friendship to those that are at a very difficult time in their lives and volunteers taking time out of their days is life-changing.

Volunteering is easy. Its flexible and we let you choose the day and time to volunteer. The process is simple. Come in to the office. We will provide a volunteer training and match you to a patient that we feel you will bond with. We then hope you will be able to dedicate an hour or so a week to visit the patient and be their friend. You can play card games with them, read with them, talk, share a skill, ect.

As you volunteer you will make a difference in the lives of others, support a good cause, learn something new, feel good about yourself, meet new people, and gain rewarding and life-changing experiences.

Training is available for those interested.

Requirements:

16 years or older

TB test (at our expense)
