International Aesthetic & Laser Association

The International Aesthetic and Laser Association (IALA) was formed in 2008 as a nonprofit professional association that includes providers of laser hair removal and other cosmetic services throughout the world. As providers of these services, we became concerned that state legislatures and other regulatory bodies were adopting inconsistent and sometimes unnecessary standards to govern our industry. Since our members provide more of these services than any other single provider, we believe it’s important that we influence the creation of these standards for the safety of consumers and so that these services remain affordable and widely available to the public.
