Alaska Jewish Historical Museum & Cultural Center

The Alaska Jewish Museum was established with a mission to educate the public of the untold Jewish history of Alaska and the previously unrecognized contributions of Alaska’s Jewish residents, to the purchase and development of Alaska’s government, commerce and humanities from territorial days to present. The goal of AJM is to highlight the Jewish advocacy and contribution for Alaskan Natives rights and culture. Through its exhibits, public lectures, documentaries and educational programs, the AJM encourages the public to become more informed about Alaska’s Jewish history and culture in order to help build cultural bridges that promote diversity and tolerance.
