Green development welfare Organization (GDWO) is a registered national non governmental organization since 1999.It has its head office in chilas in District Diamer of Gilgit Baltistan. Our area of focus is predominantly Health, education, Peace, Human Rights and women empowerment.

We work in the most tough environments in Gilgit Baltistan both geographically and terrain wise as well and one of the most volatile regions of the world. At this point of history, when divisions and despairs, intolerance and hatred, are so dominant, Green Development and Welfare Organization is striving hard to put all energies to contribute for sustainable development, progress, women empowerment, early disaster relief and rescue efforts and peace building among different communities in Gilgit Baltistan.
