NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley HomeOwnership Center

NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley (NWBRV) is an affordable housing nonprofit, which provides neighborhood development services to the Woonsocket community as well as Northern Rhode Island. Services provided include first time homebuyer counseling, financial fitness, community outreach and advocacy, youth programs, and residential services.

The NWBRV Homeownership Center was created in 2006 to help area families to access homeownership opportunities, as well as to provide counseling and needed financial services to underserved populations. NWBRV offers foreclosure mitigation, pre and post purchase homebuyer education, credit and financial coaching sessions to both groups and individuals interested in improving their economic situation. All services are provided by HUD-approved and NeighborWorks America certified counselors in Spanish and English.
